Questions about our Cooking Experience

Planning an evening of handmade pasta, local food and good company in Salento? Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our cooking experience, from what is included to how to book your evening.

About the Experience

The experience takes place in our family home in Corigliano d’Otranto, a small town in the heart of Salento (Puglia), near Lecce.
It’s not a restaurant or a cooking school: it’s a real home where we welcome guests around our table.

The whole experience lasts around 3-3,5 hours.
The evening usually includes:

  • welcome aperitivo with local snacks and drinks,
  • hands-on pasta making with Enza,
  • dinner together with the pasta you prepared, local wine, dessert and limoncello.

You’ll spend the evening with us like a guest in our home:

  1. Arrive and settle in with an aperitivo and some conversation;
  2. Learn to make orecchiette and maccheroncini by hand with Enza, using traditional family techniques;
  3. Sit down together to enjoy the pasta you made, with homemade sauces, local vegetables and cheese. The dinner is accompanied by excellent local wines and soft drinks;
  4. Finish with Enza’s homemade pie and a glass of limoncello, while we share stories and music.

It’s relaxed, friendly and focused on sharing, not on perfection.
