About Us

Our story

My name is Enza, and together with my husband Antonio, we started Cooking Love three years ago here in our home in Salento. At first, it was simply a way to share the kind of evenings we grew up with: homemade food, wine on the table, and people staying together long after dinner was finished.

I have always cooked in a very warm and wholesome way, using recipes and traditions that have been part of our families for generations. What we share with guests today is the same atmosphere we have always shared with friends and family at home.

Over the years, guests from all over the world have joined our table, made pasta with us by hand, and shared unforgettable evenings together. More than anything, we want people to leave feeling like they experienced a real piece of life here in Salento, not just a cooking class.

Where our story comes from

We both grew up in this small historic town called Corigliano d’Otranto, here in the heart of Salento. Our parents, grandparents, and generations before them all lived here too. The traditions of the town, the food, and the way people gather around the table are a big part of who we are today.

The place we call home

Corigliano d’Otranto is a beautiful medieval town in the heart of Salento, with old stone streets, strong family traditions, and a slower way of life that we still love today. Growing up here, food was always connected to family, time together, and long evenings around the table.

Many of the recipes we share come from those memories. They were passed down naturally through family dinners, holidays, and years spent watching our parents and grandparents cook.

When guests come into our home, we want them to experience a part of that life with us, not only the food itself, but the warmth, traditions, and love we still have for this town and the way we were raised here.
